Died: April 22, 1994, in New York, New York

Served as Vice President from 1953 to 1961
Accomplishments while President included international diplomacy, revenue sharing, the end of the draft, new anticrime laws, and a broad environmental program.
Resigned in 1974 due to impending impeachment as a result of the Watergate break-in and cover-up – succeeded in office by Vice President Gerald Ford.
